Soy Wax has a memory.
To ensure your candles don’t tunnel always burn your candles until they reach a full melt pool which is when the melted wax reaches all the edges of your jar usually 3-4 hours.
We advise not to burn your candle for longer than 4 hours on each burn for safety reasons.
Before lighting your candle each time be sure to trim the wick to 1/4 inch this ensures proper burn.
If a candle has multiple wicks ensure they are lit and extinguished at the same time. Ensure your candle is placed onto a heat resistant surface. Avoid burning in drafts such as open windows, fans and air flow.
Lighting candles are hot, never touch a candle jar while it is lit and allow sufficient time for your candle to cool before handling.
Don’t burn your candle to the end of the jar allow a small bit of wax to remain as the further down your candle burns the jar becomes hotter.
Candle Safety
Never leave a burning candle unattended!
Ensure the wick, the original and only wick, remains in the centre of the candle and that no foreign object be left in the wax to form a secondary wick.
Extinguish all candles when leaving a room.
All candles have a risk of shattering and over heating.
Keep burning candles away from children and pets.
Do not place near flammable objects such as materials, paper, cloths etc.
Make sure the candle is placed on a stable, heat resistant level surface.
Extinguish if flame become too high or if flickering repeatedly.
Keep wick trimmed to 5 mm at all times to avoid carbon build up.
Allow candle to cool before trimming wick or relighting.
Never extinguish candles with water. The water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might cause the container to break.
