Have a Buffet at the Wedding it will be Grand They Said

Planning a wedding and contemplating having a buffet for the wedding meal? Let’s face it everyone loves a free meal especially at a wedding where the craic is mighty. Well, some poor bride decided to offer her guests a lovely buffet meal to fill their bellies but apparently, the belly wasn’t enough and someone decided to fill their pockets too.

Buffets at a wedding are not very common but they do happen especially at smaller weddings. The food for the buffet is carefully made for the numbers provided by the bride when organising the wedding so we’re always respectful and mindful when filling our plates to ensure there’s enough to go around. Well some people don’t share this feeling and one unsuspected bride found out the hard way on her big day

A bride took to Facebook to disclose a situation that happened on her big day. She described how she had a buffet at her wedding and a guest had the nerve to bring plastic containers so they could fill as much free food in it and take it home. This wedding guest from hell actually brought ten containers so they could fill their boots.

The bride continued to explain that the same person who filled the containers with food from the Buffett wasn’t even someone who was originally invited to the wedding. The wedding only consisted of about 25 people so this person’s actions didn’t go unnoticed.

She invited her dads best friend so he would have company but a few days before the wedding the same friend asked if his daughter could come? The bride agreed to allow the daughter to come last minute but things took a turn for the worst. The daughter of the man showed up without her partner but equipped with 10 food containers.  

The woman filled 7 containers with hot food and then 3 with the cookie deserts that were on offer to the wedding guests. If that’s not bad enough she also two bottles of beer and believe it or not some of the centerpieces.

The poor bride was too busy enjoying her wedding to notice at the time the woman was filling her containers but her own father witnessed the whole fiasco go down and he couldn’t believe his eyes.

The dad couldn’t bring himself to tell her on the day but did the next day. To add salt to the wound when the bride opened the gift from the daughter in question she was shocked to see that she had put just 5 dollars in the card.

Ok my first thought is, god this is mad then I think we’ll maybe she is going through some hard times and she needs help as she is struggling to feed herself. Well, that’s not the case, the bride explained how the girl is well off, even better off than she is.
